The first thing you should do is to make sure that your tunnel tent is pitched correctly and is entirely taught. You must tighten the adjustable pole holders so that the outer tent meets the bottom of the pole holder. Make sure all the guy lines are drawn to their full length and pegged down. The guy lines attached to the vents must be secured.

Door bands are used to keep the door of the tent at the correct place. This helps the zipper to open smoothly. You must ensure that the door band has to be tight enough so as there is no tension across the zippers.
